💥PULSAR BEATS 2 FOR L.A.💥 Friends! Let’s stop for a moment and think about all that’s happened to L.A. in the past month, and still is happening. Its almost inconceivable. Thousands of peoples houses burnt down. Madlib’s house burnt to the ground. And on top of it all, David Lynch passed away... Seeing the destruction of L.A. by the wildfires from overseas hits me hard in the stomach. SO: This follow up release to ‘PULSAR BEATS’ is a fundraiser for Los Angeles, a city i feel a profound connection with and am inspired by. From performing in the El Ray Theatre & The Roxy, to watching Twin Peaks & Mulholland Drive, to the L.A. beatscene, with artists like Daedelus and Gaslampkiller. All has had, and still is, a huge inspiration to me.
Today, from midnight to midnight PST, Bandcamp will donate 100% of its proceeds to MusiCares to aid those affected by the devastating Southern California wildfires. MusiCares provides critical support to the music community, offering mental health counseling, addiction recovery, health services, housing assistance, and more during times of crisis. After this day i will donate all proceeds of this beat album to Direct Relief L.A & the @madlib fundraiser by Love Like Water. Enjoy the album. And stay safe and healthy everybody. Decided to give @sxratch_official a spin on my laptop. Great fun to see a real-time analyzation of what i'm scratching. The Sound tracking by the software is very 'warbly' though - how could that be, anyone? And i would like to use it on top of Traktor running - this does not seem possible. Other than that : much funnings & educational potential.
